Monday Motivation🦾🪝 It’s a new week but we’re dishing out the same standard. We show up, we figure it out and we get it done without the excuses. A few towing companies turned them down. The location was bad. The situation was dangerous. And getting the vehicle out wasn’t going to be easy. Then we got the call.

Our dispatcher sent CJ. Within half an hour, he was there. Ian joined him, and together they figured out how to safely get the job done.

John E. left us this review:

“Our car broke down on a really bad spot down I-84, a few towing companies turned us down cause they weren’t sure they’d be able to help. The dispatcher sent CJ and within half an hour he was already there. Even tho it was a difficult and dangerous spot CJ and Ian were able to figure it out and get us out quickly and as safe as possible.

While I didn’t get to meet Ian, CJ was super friendly and helpful, he was professional and super quick at his job. We didn’t know if we’d be able to get out and somehow they got us out.

I cannot explain my gratitude, I know if anything happens again they’re the ones to get it done!”

WHEN I-5 SAYS “NOT TODAY.” While I-5 southbound was already dealing with the planned closure this morning, northbound ramp on Marine drive decided to join the party. An overturned semi hauling scrap shut things down and left one serious mess to clean up. Truck on its side. Trailer over. Scrap scattered everywhere, including down below the roadway. This is exactly where heavy recovery gets complicated. It’s not just about putting a truck back on its wheels. You’re dealing with the tractor, the trailer, the load, debris, traffic, containment and getting the highway ramp opened again safely. 🦾🪝

It could be a classic car somebody has spent years taking care of. It could be a vehicle buried in the brush, a routine tow across town, or a crash scene where suddenly nothing about the day feels routine anymore. That’s this business. Some calls are challenging. Some are interesting. Some are rewarding. And some stick with you long after the truck is parked. But every one of them is a reminder that life moves fast. So do good work. Take care of your people. Be proud of what you do. Don’t put everything important off until “someday.” And when somebody is having one of the worst days of their life, remember that how you show up matters.

Russell was a leader, a friend, a mentor, and a man who left his fingerprints on the people around him. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Russell, then you know! His soft spoken leadership and huge caring eyes were the definition of wisdom and genuine leadership. That is what a legacy really is. Legacy isn’t just a name carved into a stone. It’s the part of you that continues to live in everyone you left behind.
